Okay, so i did a shimmery blue & green eyeshadow look with a pink lip and then with a lavender lip just to see which i preferred. (I liked the pink better with my skin) Then i decided that i wanted some sort of design on my face/neck.. So, i used a simple piece of white printer paper to cut out some scales & gill stencils with a razor blade 🙂 Crazy simple and crazy easy if you need something quick. Then i just held the stencils on the spots i wanted to transfer them onto, (lotion up area first it makes it a looot easier) and used a makeup brush with the same color eyeshadows on it to fill it all in. Then peel it off and VIOLA! 😉

Here is everything i used:

image

  • Lancome High Def Mascara
  • MALLY base shadow
  • L.A. Colors eyeshadow palette “waterworld”
  • Sally girl single eyeshadow “Aqua”
  • SMASHBOX Halo Glow Color Boosting Powder (bronzer)
  • Serious Skincare A Primer Vitamin A Line Filler
  • MAC Strobe Liquid
  • Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer
  • Almay Liquid Eyeliner (was going to use black MAC dip down but decided not to)
  • Paper!
  • Razor Blade

So, if you’ve got some gorgeous water-themed eyeshadows laying around, bust them out for a Halloween party! Try out this look for yourself, all you need is some gorgeous bright eyeshadows, a razor blade and some printer paper! 😀 You can create the exact stencil/shape you have in mind too, which is the best part. Make a pretty emblem for your forehead or big scar for your cheek, options are endless ladies!

Liven Up Your Makeup Area! Simple Ways To Beautify Your Space!

I really do like a simplistic/modern when it comes to house decor, but i feel like i can’t help but want to personalize my vanity/makeup area when i see all of these other gorgeous spaces online posted by girls everywhere. I’ll be talking about a few simple ways breathe air into your space if you feel it’s lacking personality.

image

  • First and foremost, if you have TONS of makeup like myself, you are going to need a place for storing it all. Luckily i have many drawers and cupboards that are barely enough space for all my makeup. Those cupboards are full of organizational baskets and plastic organizers that you can buy online or from places like target or Walmart. They also have plastic stacked bins that slide in & out that will serve as maximum makeup storage & organization if you do not have drawers and cupboards vacant.
  • Now the seat, get yourself a nice comfy chair that you love. I love the look of these weaved grass type chairs and i love the height of this ones back piece! It’s like a throne. I keep a little matching pillow on it for back support/comfort. 🙂
  • Match your accessories; whether it be color, pattern or both! It’s just a fact of life that a space pulled together with matching beautiful towels, rugs and candles etc, makes us humans happy and it’s obv. more appealing to the eye. ❤ Go to Walmart or target or even the dollar store sometimes, they have tons of bathroom sets for great prices!

image

  • Lighting is SO important guys! If you are doing your makeup in a dark area you are not going to achieve the results you want. Natural lighting is clearly the best option but if you have a designated makeup spot with no windows, you should probably invest in some nice vanity lights! Talk about brightening up your space. 😉 I took a picture of two bulbs but there’s at least 10 of these guys running across the top of my mirror. These are big bulbs that produce lots of light and makes it super easy to do my makeup with better detail.

image

  • Get yourself a nice sleek mirror for close up occasions, those moments where you’re gonna need a closer look at what you are doing. Keep it clean and on your vanity table for a nice touch. ❤
  • Put out your favorite perfumes, not just because you’ll be using them often, but they always look very elegant & classy sitting on a vanity table.
  • Clear a spot to keep some commonly used items, whether it’s nail polish, lipsticks, or foundation. Just keep it neatly placed in an acrylic organizer for easy access! 🙂

image

image

  • Add some plant life; get a bundle of flowers and put them in a nice vase or get a bamboo plant like me! 🙂 This really adds a nice lively touch to the space.
  • Get a few accessories/nik-nacs that you love and if you have room, place them somewhere on your vanity table/area! I have a few small things shown above.
  • If you have any wall space incorporated into your makeup area, USE IT! Nothing personalizes a space better than your most favorite works of art, paintings, drawings, posters etc. Or in my case, i painted something personally for it. Since i barely had any wall space for this, i wanted to paint something special for the area that had to do with cosmetics & beauty and what i love. ❤

image

It’s important to surround yourself with beauty in more ways than just physical. This is a pretty space, and i love doing my makeup here but more importantly it the fact that wanting to keep this area so beautiful and nice, keeps me organized and very clean with it. That helps me mentally more than anything, because i really can’t tolerate clutter at this point in my life. So, not only does brightening up/organizing your makeup area right now make you happy, but it will help you strive to keep it that way and keep you happy. ❤

Thanks for reading! Leave comments & thoughts for me, hope you all had a great weekend! Ready for work? 🙂 I’m adding lot’s of goodies into my Halloween Giveaway keep checking for it! ❤

Pink and Playful Makeup Look!

So this afternoon i decided i wanted to do something fun and PINK for you all! I created one eyeshadow look, and used a couple different lip colors to show you how to quickly & easily change up this look and see what this would look like with different shades of lippies! 🙂 It can be transformed into a bridal event look, a night on the town look, a lovely date look and anything in between! ❤

image

This is my girly sweet pink eyeshadow look, with no lipstick applied at all here. I have naturally pink lips as you can see though so this gives you an idea of what this eye would look like with a nude/pinky or mauve type lip.

Here’s the same eyeshadow with a bright pastel  & vibrant orange lip! This is obviously more of an extreme pink and peach combo for going out or partying, maybe heading to a concert.. something of that nature. 😉

image

image

These are all of the products i used, and the lipsticks in this particular “going-out” look are MAC’s “Sushi Kiss” in the middle of my lips and Milani’s “Sweet Nectar” on the outer parts!

image

image

  • Milani “Sweet Nectar”
  • MAC “Sushi Kiss”
  • MAC “Saint Germain”
  • MAC Mineralize Concealer NC20
  • MAC Strobe Liquid Lotion
  • MAC Moisture SPF 15 Foundation in NC22
  • Mally Base Shadow/Primer (not shown above)

image

  • L.A. Colors Shadow Palette “Tease” (the pink shade)
  • FLOWER Bronzer/Blush Duo in “Glow Baby Glow”
  • L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow 24HR in “Iced Latte”

image

  • Neutrogena Facial Lotion for Sensitive Skin (always use this on a clean face before applying my makeup)
  • L’Oreal Infallible 16HR Powder in “Porcelain”
  • Almay Liquid Black Liner
  • Lancome Paris High Definition Mascara Black

Here is the eyeshadow look with a bright pastel pink lippie paired with it. This one is MAC’s “Saint Germain.” This one is still vibrant but the lighter pink lip softens it up a bit for a daytime more formal event.

Violet Eyes and Heroine Lips!

Hi beauties! Happy friday! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend 😉 I really don’t feel good today but i really wanted to do a look for all of you so here’s what i came up with!

  image

image

Here is what products i used!

image

image

image

image

  • MAC “Heroine” Lipstick
  • Hard Candy Mod Quad in “Under the Moon”

I absolutely love this little eyeshadow palette. It was SO cheap and the colors are so stellar. It comes with a white/purple lumi type shade, a very pastel cyber violet, a deep smokey purpley-red color and a magnificent dark indigo sparkle.

image

  • Mally Base Shadow/primer

image

  • FLOWER blush/bronzer compact in “Glow Baby Glow”
  • MAC mineralize concealer
  • Lancome High Definition Mascara
  • Almay Liquid Eyliner “Black”

This is a very wearable look as it is, or if the purple lip is too much you can really lighten it up if you used a more neutral/nude lip color. Try cheaper palettes if they catch your eye because you never know when you’ll get super lucky and find a gem! ❤ My nail color is “Mint Candy Apple” by Essie!

Gorgeous Fall Makeup Look!

Hey ladies! I am really excited for fall! I love the warm colors and the cozy atmosphere it brings to all of us ❤ It makes me feel so at home. I am also a fall baby so my birthday is coming up very soon! Woo woo! ;D Anyways, autumn doesn’t just bring orange leaves and delicious yumy food, but makeup inspiration! Here is what i came up with:

image

image

I wanted to do something glamorous.. Big, beautiful eyes and of course, a smashed berry lip! A fall look wouldn’t be complete without a nice deep berry lippie. 🙂

Here is everything i used on this look!

image

image

I pulled a few colors out of these three different eyeshadow palettes, and then i have a fourth single shadow i used in my inner corner area.

image

Here is the first fantastic palette. It is the Estēe Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow Palette, and the color i used is the very bottom right eyeshadow in “Chocolate Bliss.”

image

Now we have one of my favorites of all the L.A. Colors palettes i own, “Glamorous.” The shadow i used is in the bottom left corner. It’s a gorgeous baked reddish brown color ❤

image

Last palette i used in this look was the Maybelline “The Blushed Nudes” Palette. The color that i used is the one my tweezers are pointed to! 🙂

image

Now there’s the single eyeshadow i used, it is a L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow in “Iced Latte.” It is SO pigmented and gorgeous, it picks up light so beautifully too! Very easy to blend.

image

image

And the rest of the stuff i used:

  • L’Oreal Infallible “Everlasting Plum” Lipstick
  • Almay Liquid Eyeliner “Black”
  • Mally Base Shadow/Primer
  • MAC Mineralize Concealer NC20
  • Lancôme High Def Mascara “Black”
  • FLOWER “Glow Baby Glow” Blush/Bronzer Duo
  • L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 16HR Powder
  • Salon Perfect “Perfectly Glamorous” False Lashes
  • Revlon Single Shadow “Vintage” (for eyebrows)

  • Lancôme High Definition Mascara “Black”

  • Salon Perfect False Lashes “Perfectly Glamorous”

  • Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup “150 Buff”
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
  • MAC Strobe Liquid Lotion (on cheekbones)
  • FLOWER “Glow Baby Glow” Bronzer/Blush Duo

image

Just wanted to add in a quick review about this Creme Makeup by Revlon. I absolutely love this stuff, it is whipped to perfection and applies onto the skin SO nicely. As you can see it gives me full flawless coverage too. Purchase yours HERE!

I applied a NYX gloss over this palladio matte color though, so you can’t tell. Purchase one HERE!

Here is the extremely cheap palette i picked up and used for this look. It is by L.A. colors the name is “Sunflower.”

image

  • Almay Liquid Liner in “Black”

Makeup HAUL!

Hello girls! I haven’t been feeling very well lately but i still wanted to post something tonight for you all<3 Recently my boyfriend took me out and wanted to spoil me a little since i haven’t been feeling too hot, so i bought…. A bunch of makeup! For myself and YOU! I’ll be doing a giveaway next month with some of the stuff i picked up, i’ll show you what i bought for us! 😀

Here is what i purchased for my October giveaway for one of you lovely ladies!

image

I’m thinking this one will be International.. Two of FLOWER’s Powder to creme blushes, in TT1 & TT2 (a bright pink and a muted coral color.) A beautiful eyeshadow chubby in a gorgeous deep royal purple shade, and most likely some more stuff i pick up from here to the date the giveaway will start. So keep checking for it 😉

Now here are a few things i picked up for myself to play around with:

image

image

Two Hard Candy Highlight & Contour Cheek Duo’s. LEFT: Angel Face RIGHT: Island Glow

These guys are so gorgeous in person just as a swatch. The colors are so sheer and picks up light beautifully. I have a picture but it really doesn’t do it much justice, you would just have to trust me on this one. I am so eager to use these, i have no doubt they will be gorgeous on the cheekbones. Keep look out for a post on these exclusively!

Let’s move onto these L’Oreal Infallible 24 HR Pressed Eyeshadows in “Iced Latte” & “Perpetual Purple,” and a beautiful Infallible Lipstick in “Everlasting Plum“…

image

image

These shadows are GORGEOUS! SO pigmented and SO soft, they feel like a pillowy cushion inside the jar. I would definitely recommend these to all of you as they have an array of amazing colors, and the best part is that they behave like the Maybelline color tattoo creme shadows. They are not creamy at all, but they last forever. I have swatches of these below with the other eyeshadows i purchased.

Now the L’Oreal Infallible lipstick! I’m in LOVE. This is such a fall color i cant even begin to tell you, it is a deep smashed berry color that looks SO dark in the tube but just comes to life as soon as you apply it! It is like a bright orchid purple, it is stunning. This would be beautiful on any skin tone

image

Everlasting Plum

It has a gorgeous bright berry/fall tone that makes this color very special and a must have for Autumn.

Now, i have some more stuff from FLOWER!

Starting with beautiful eyeshadow palette in “Eye-sea-you” and a Blush/Bronzer Duo in “Glow Baby Glow.”

image

These colors in ALL of these pans, the shadows and the blush/bronzer, are just insanely soft and smooth to the touch. They feel like velvet. This formula is amazing and the colors are beautiful! Let me show you some swatches, the first two colors are the L’Oreal shadows from earlier.

image

The two horizontal swatches at the top are the blush & bronzer duo.

As you can see all of these colors are stunning & unique. That green shadow from the FLOWER palette is like a mossy gold color, i can’t wait to play around with these palettes. These are all just straight up swatches with no primer or anything, so with primer these colors will be much more vibrant and pop! I will definitely be doing a makeup look with these soon. So be sure to check it out and comment!

I picked up this gorgeous melon colored lipgloss from FLOWER as well:

image

FLOWER High shine lip lacquer “Give Peach A Chance

You guys should really try some of this stuff out for yourselves, you wont regret it! I am in love with everything.
