Quick Ipsy December Glambag Review!

Hello again all! ❤ I received my lovely little pink bag in the mail today, so you know what that means… Review time! 😀

The little card is so adorable it has all the famous youtubers on it but in little cutesy drawings! I really don’t read these anymore though, because they always mislead me. So let’s just get right into it!

First off we have this sweet little teeny tiny Fomula X Nail Polish, in a gorgeous shimmery champagne golden shade called “Revved Up”. I’ve heard great things about Fomula X and i’m excited to try it because i do not own any colors by this brand. I especially like this color for the upcoming Holiday ❤ Did any of you get a different shade?

The next few items i’ll cover now. Starting off with the Anti Aging Lip & Hand Polish by Jersey Shore Spa in the scent “Vanilla Bean.”

Here i squeezed a little out for you to see the texture & consistency. It clearly has a very abrasive exfoliating quality to it, with large sugar crystals and also nice hydrating characteristics because of the jojoba oil you can see draining off. I have been in dire need of a great lip polish in these colder months here in AZ. So i was VERY excited to see this, and since i plan on only using this on my lips the deluxe sample size will last me FOREVER! I also love the smell, it’s more of a natural Vanilla Bean scent than the typical artificial vanilla cake smell. Thank you Ipsy! ❤ You saved my lips!

Next up we have the two lip products i was sent!

First off i would like to say if you want to see a lip swatch of these two products, check out my last post because i used them together to create a beautiful natural lip! I absolutely LOVE the texture of both of these, they glide on your lip and are super creamy and opaque. I usually would prefer if Ipsy sent me brighter colors, but these are the perfect nude duo, and i am so happy these were sent to me. Great lip products! ❤ These are both FULL SIZE also!

And lastly, we have the dreaded hair care sample:

If you read my Ipsy reviews you know that i am never too happy when i get a heavy glambag only to crack it open and find a big ole’ tube of hair product or hand lotion 😦 I like coconut but i don’t need these types of samples as i already have a pretty religious hair ceremony. LOL. Passing this item off to a friend.

Review: Makeup By DNA Matte Lip Colors!

Hello lovelies! I am SO happy it’s friday, aren’t you? I can’t wait untill i get off work, so i decided to start putting this post together piece by piece on my breaks and spare time here since i already have some pictures saved. Today i will be talking about DNA Cosmetics matte lip colors! If you have not heard of this brand, you better listen up! I have a NEW OBSESSION with these lip colors. If you love matte, smudge proof & kiss friendly lip products, this will be right up your alley too! I have three colors to show you here today.

Meet “Lust” 😈

A bright, happy and rosey bubblegum pink color. I’ve paired this up with a very neutral/soft makeup look, so no attention will be drawn away from my big matte lips! 😉 BUT, i also think this would look beautiful with a brown/bronze/gold variation on a Smokey Eye. Maybe i’ll create something in the future.. I am not exaggerating when i say that these set almost instantaneously. You wait maybe.. 1 full minute and your lips are covered for the DAY. No smudging, no bleeding & no feathering. If you do plan on going out to eat or something else that causes a lot of moisture around your lips i recommend throwing it in your clutch/purse for a quick reapplication afterwards. 👍💜

The next color i want to share with you is called “Rebel Rose” 💄

This color is a warm & nudey pink with a mauve rose undertone. This color can seriously be the transforming step to your whole look, this color is dark enough to be used for a grungey dramatic look or can be paired with soft eye makeup and make the look very natural & everyday friendly. I absolutely love this color and its versatility. Very popular i’m sure ❤️ This one is a must have in my book! One other thing i love about these lip colors are their texture/consistency. Ultra smooth, glides on, full coverage, great color pay off, ULTRA matte and the little doe foot applicator was made for lip products like this, i can seriously get such a perfect line around my lips you’ll be obsessed with how this stuff applies! 👏

Now we have “Purplicious” 💜

An extremely deep & dark smashed blackberry color. How perfect is this shade for Fall?! 👍 🍂The only thing that was different about this color & all the rest are that: it required two + layers to achieve an even color payoff, cant really wipe away any errors with this one because it stains and it was much harder for me to get off my lips 😭 Other than that, i LOVE this color and i’ll definitely be wearing it for Autumn regardless. Did i mention that these gorgeous DNA lip colors smell JUST LIKE MAC LIPSTICKS??? That soft & creamy sweet smell that we all know and love! MAJOR PLUS 😋 I would pair this lip color with a dark purple/black/grey eyeshadow to go with the deep, dark theme 😈

I HIGHLY recommend this brand, i think everybody needs to at least try DNA’s matte lip colors once! And once you do, you will be obsessed. I promise this will be your go to matte lip color for any & every occasion, it will become a part of your DNA. Ipsy October Glam Bag! 2015

Hello my loves! So sorry i haven’t been posting lately, but things will be picking back up here i have quite a few posts to make in the near future about lots of fun makeup topics! 💖💄 And one big beautiful HAUL coming soon!!! Today, i will be sharing what i recieved in this months october ipsy bag. If you do not know what ipsy is, i encourage to to go ahead and check out their website it explains it all for you there. Baisically it is a 10$ monthly beauty subscription that is shipped to you with 4-5 deluxe samples, a makeup bag and sometimes one full size product (eyelash curlers, nail colors, makeup brushes etc..) Last months ipsy bag really didn’t make me too exited, i got a lot of stuff i wouldn’t use. This month, i got a lot of stuff i probably wont use and tried to do everything in my power to not recieve in my ipsy bags (hand lotions, hair products, etc.)

This months theme was “Alter Ego.” It made me so excited when i pulled this card out of the bag and the gorgeous girl had bright beautiful extravagant makeup on and neon pink hair! “This October, transform into whoever you want to be. A little imagination and your glam bag is all you need. Infinite possibilities, infinite ways to express yourself” was printed on the back. I was so sure i was going to get some bright awesome colors and products, but i was wrong. I really don’t see how this card related to my bag at all unfortunately, but it was a nice picture to look at.

This is itCosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara in a sample/travel size. I like this product and i’m excited to try it since i haven’t yet, so this one made me happy. ItCosmetics is a great brand i have tons of their brushes and i’ve used some of their other products too, anyone who got this was probably happy as well. 👍

Here i have a Peter Lamas Pumpkin Exfoliating Facial Scrub travel size, it smells like a spicy fall time sweet dessert but a little over the top smelling at that. The exfoliating property of this seems like it would work very well it has thick exfoliating beads in it. Maybe i will use it on my legs or something i don’t think i would want my face smelling like this as i get migraines very easily.

Then there is the Eva Nyc Therapy Session hair mask travel size, i might try this or maybe pass it on to my mother. She also has an ipsy bag subscription so we will call each other and trade items next time we see each other haha. 😄 It smells very strong and perfume like. But the smell isn’t bad. You may like it a lot 😉

Here we have a pair of cheaply made tweezers by Emite Makeup. I buy really good quality tweezers that are costly but worth it to me, because i do my own eyebrows and it literally makes the job a hell of a lot easier when you have a pair of precisely made, flat sharp tweezers at your service. These have no use for me. 👎

And then we have an awesome The Balm Liquid Lipstick in “Committed.” Very small sample size. It is a nice everyday neutral color, in a matte formula. Once again, nothing to do with this months theme.. It feels very tacky even after 5 or so minutes, but just hold off on smooching or eating etc. for a bout 10-15 minutes then it will fully set and there will be no smudging at all. I know it seems long, DNA cosmetics lip colors set immediately and stay put all day unlike The Balms formula, and it is much more affordable. Definitely recommend checking them out if you haven’t, their lip colors are TO DIE FOR. But this one smells exactly like thin mint cookies, other beauty bloggers were definitely right about that! Haha, don’t know if i would want such a strong smell on my lips all day but we shall see. 🙌

Mini MAC Haul! Quick Swatch Review!

Hi girls! Super excited because i received a special package in the mail from MAC cosmetics today. I ordered a few different lipsticks to review quickly & show you all! I’m sure you may be familiar with some of them. I have repurchased one of these colors and the rest are new to my collection 🙂

Let’s get started!

So this is what i grabbed:

• Sushi Kiss
• Flamingo
• Saint Germain
• Heroine (repurchase)

And they sent me a free sample of the strobe liquid, i have a full size bottle of this but i like it a lot so i figured i might as well grab a sample for traveling or something.

Here are some swatches!

Now let me show you them on my actual lips!

Sushi Kiss:

Beautiful & bright pastel, creamy peachy color! I absolutely love this one and was very excited to order it. And obviously these lipsticks are great & creamy!

Flamingo:

This is the most subtle color of the group, it just looks like a beautiful natural healthy pinky/peach glow on your lips, it is sooo pretty. I’m really glad i picked this one up.

Saint Germain:

This is a sweet pastel baby pink. I was worried it may be a little to light for my skin tone since i’m very fair, but it really is gorgeous and makes me look more tan and i’m definitely happy i got it! ❤

Heroine:

Since i really had barely any of this color left, i obviously had to get it back in time for fall! This is a beautiful deep but vibrant orchid/berry type color, It would look stunning on any skin tone in my opinion! 🙂

Makeup HAUL!

Hello girls! I haven’t been feeling very well lately but i still wanted to post something tonight for you all<3 Recently my boyfriend took me out and wanted to spoil me a little since i haven’t been feeling too hot, so i bought…. A bunch of makeup! For myself and YOU! I’ll be doing a giveaway next month with some of the stuff i picked up, i’ll show you what i bought for us! 😀

Here is what i purchased for my October giveaway for one of you lovely ladies!

I’m thinking this one will be International.. Two of FLOWER’s Powder to creme blushes, in TT1 & TT2 (a bright pink and a muted coral color.) A beautiful eyeshadow chubby in a gorgeous deep royal purple shade, and most likely some more stuff i pick up from here to the date the giveaway will start. So keep checking for it 😉

Now here are a few things i picked up for myself to play around with:

Two Hard Candy Highlight & Contour Cheek Duo’s. LEFT: Angel Face RIGHT: Island Glow

These guys are so gorgeous in person just as a swatch. The colors are so sheer and picks up light beautifully. I have a picture but it really doesn’t do it much justice, you would just have to trust me on this one. I am so eager to use these, i have no doubt they will be gorgeous on the cheekbones. Keep look out for a post on these exclusively!

Let’s move onto these L’Oreal Infallible 24 HR Pressed Eyeshadows in “Iced Latte” & “Perpetual Purple,” and a beautiful Infallible Lipstick in “Everlasting Plum“…

These shadows are GORGEOUS! SO pigmented and SO soft, they feel like a pillowy cushion inside the jar. I would definitely recommend these to all of you as they have an array of amazing colors, and the best part is that they behave like the Maybelline color tattoo creme shadows. They are not creamy at all, but they last forever. I have swatches of these below with the other eyeshadows i purchased.

Now the L’Oreal Infallible lipstick! I’m in LOVE. This is such a fall color i cant even begin to tell you, it is a deep smashed berry color that looks SO dark in the tube but just comes to life as soon as you apply it! It is like a bright orchid purple, it is stunning. This would be beautiful on any skin tone. 

“Everlasting Plum“

It has a gorgeous bright berry/fall tone that makes this color very special and a must have for Autumn.

Now, i have some more stuff from FLOWER!

Starting with beautiful eyeshadow palette in “Eye-sea-you” and a Blush/Bronzer Duo in “Glow Baby Glow.”

These colors in ALL of these pans, the shadows and the blush/bronzer, are just insanely soft and smooth to the touch. They feel like velvet. This formula is amazing and the colors are beautiful! Let me show you some swatches, the first two colors are the L’Oreal shadows from earlier.

The two horizontal swatches at the top are the blush & bronzer duo.

As you can see all of these colors are stunning & unique. That green shadow from the FLOWER palette is like a mossy gold color, i can’t wait to play around with these palettes. These are all just straight up swatches with no primer or anything, so with primer these colors will be much more vibrant and pop! I will definitely be doing a makeup look with these soon. Quick Review and Small Giveaway: FLOWER Lip Butters!

Hi ladies! ❤ I just wanted to quickly share my thoughts on a product i have been loving lately by FLOWER Cosmetics. What a surprise. This time, it’s their Lip Butter Line! Honestly, you are gonna love these.

Here i have a few of their unbelievably creamy, moisturizing and luxurious Lip Butters! From left to right: Sweet Peach, Cherry Chiffon and Princess & The Peony.

Here are some lovely swatches of the first two colors:

A bright, fresh peachy-orange color and a vibrant, tart cherry red!

“Princess & The Peony” is a beautiful rosey/baby pink color!

You can tell from those swatches that these are extremely buttery, just like a lip butter should be. 😉 They apply like a dream, are beautifully pigmented and last on your lips! If you were a fan of NYX butter lipsticks, surely you will be a fan of these guys! I picked up a new “princess & the peony” to have in a little giveaway for those of you in the United States! (I will be doing an international giveaway someday, please keep an eye out for it!
