As you can see there are some gorgeous NUDE shades in the middle, some gorgeous sparkle shades & metallic colors on the right end, and we have bright, happy and pastel in the front of the line. These polishes are so silky and they glide onto your nails like a dream. I am crazy about the nudes right now, so i picked out an antique rose type color for my mani this weekend! ❀

I absolutely love this color, and i think it would look so beautiful on any skin tone. Its a soft true nude-pink rose color it’s so gorgeous. I need a pair of heels in this color to match! πŸ˜‰

I also noticed the color looked amazing after the second coat, and dried with a nice glossy sheen to it. I did’t end up using a top coat! You could definitely put one on just to keep it strong and last longer though. I just wanted a quick mani cause my man and I are going out today & i was in somewhat of a rush.

Buy the best sellers kit HERE! Most of the colors in this kit are shown above πŸ™‚ and there are a few beautiful additions to it i wish i had gotten too! Like a bright teal & slate grey shade. Check it out for yourself! πŸ˜€

Hi girls! Just wanted to post a quick Makeup Look for you all! Keep reading if you’d like to know what i used to create this look. ❀

I used a VERY affordable palette by L.A. colors so literally anyone can try out this look for a very inexpensive price!

Here’s what i used:

Aside from the mascara, eye liner, concealer, etc. I’d like to show you a couple different items individually. Starting with the primer i used today.

This stuff is really great. It has a beautiful pearly shimmer tone to it which at first i was skeptical about putting all over my face, but nonetheless i tried it and it really just gives you a luminous, healthy looking glow! Oil free, and fills any fine lines and wrinkles with silicones and light reflectors. Definitely recommend! Ecspecially for those who don’t wear a full face of makeup often, this looks beautiful with a light face of makeup it’s very refreshing and appealing.

Next is my Illuminator:

This Illuminator is by Your Best Friend, i am crazy about this stuff. It is my BFF! It is so creamy & gorgeous, you simply must try it! You will be very pleased.

Now here’s the blush i used:

This is by i.d. BareMinerals. In the color “Bliss.” This is such a pretty sparkly peachy happy color, and it can also be used as an eye shadow!

Here’s my new favorite bronzer πŸ˜‰

image

This is a GORGEOUS suntan islandy-baked bronze color from FLOWER beauty (on right.) It is so pigmented so you don’t need to use a lot of the product when applying it, and it’s just the perfect shade and so blendable. I am in love ❀

Now we have the very affordable palette by L.A. colors:

image

I used only the first two colors you see in this palette. A gorgeous very pale green shimmer and bright teal-blue shimmer shadow. I think this was $1.50 so, this goes back to knowing how to use inexpensive makeup to its fullest extent. If you are knowledgable about application techniques then you can make something out of nothing!

Last item i just wanted to quickly share was the L’Oreal INFALLIBLE “Pro-Spray and Set” Makeup Extender setting spray. I recently ran out of my MAC setting spray and picked this up at my local drugstore, so glad i did!

It smells nice, it feels fresh and it works just as good. No complaints whatsoever about this guy! πŸ™‚

These are some really great new items i’ve been using for my daily routine lately and i think many of you would love some of these products for yourself! You should definitely try one of these out if it stands out to you, i am so happy with everything.

Swatch Review: Affordable Maybelline “The Blushed Nudes” Palette

So even after my somewhat negative review last night on the maybelline “The Nudes” Palette, i still picked this up in hopes of being more impressed. Glancing over this palette, some of the colors sold me right away. Some beautiful rosey gold shades, and a matte black with a black cherry like shimmer. So i decided to review it for you all and give you my opinion!

image

The first thing i noticed when swatching/playing around with these shadows was:

  1. They seem to have a much nicer texture than the other “The Nudes” palette. They feel much softer to the touch, the other palette’s shadows almost seemed dry.
  2. The shimmer formula seems like it applies much better, it looks very nice applied to a primed eyelid.
  3. I think their color choices throughout the palette really compliment each other. They can be used with each other and many other nude eyeshadows you may already own.

image

The very last color on the bottom right was my absolute favorite, it looked like a very deep dramatic burnt reddish black because of all the black cherry/gold colored shimmer in it, and then i swatched it. 😦 It simply did not apply nearly as well as the other shimmer colors, the sparkles fell out and left me with a plain matte black eyeshadow. Β I think it was because it wasn’t so much shimmer, it was more like sparkle flake. This was the only shadow with a seemingly different formula than the other shimmer shades.

Now let me show you some swatch samples!

I loved all of these colors except for my original favorite, the black. So for the price & quality, i would probably buy this palette again when i start running low on these shadows. I may not be using the hell out of all of them, but i can see myself using more than half of them often. These are perfect colors for a romantic date night, any night on the town, even a day on the town, or you could put together a nice look for a wedding/bachelorette party as well. If you are a makeup artist or do freelance work, picking up a few of these to keep with your supplies would be a great idea since these colors can be used for many occasions/events. I’d say go try one out for yourself ladies! For $10.00 it’s worth giving it a chance. ❀
