As you can see i used a halloween green face compact on the majority of my face and a bright green eyeshadow on certain areas to add depth and sculpt. Then i used my injury stack, in most of the colors besides the skin tone/tan and a natural sea sponge to add some gross looking infectious veins on my face! Super duper easy! Let me show you what products i used:

image image image image image

I started off by moisturizing my face with my Neutrogena Lotion all over, then i applied very little liquid foundation (L’Oreal INFALLIBLE pro-matte) equally over my entire face, while my face is moist from these steps, i start dipping into the green compact with my fluffy big foundationΒ brush starting from the center of my face outwards (applying layers as necessaryΒ to even color out) Then i went in with a compact sponge covered in a lime/greenish-yellow eyeshadow color for my sculpting of my zombie face (cheekbones, around hairline, on chin, around nose etc..) then i applied my MALLYΒ eyeshadow base all over my lid and applied more lime green, spray with my L’Oreal setting spray, Now i took my sponge and dipped into my injury stack colors and applied it directly to the areas i wanted it to be once the makeup setting spray dried, then i went ahead and did my brows, applied big winged liner & dramatic falsies, and completed this look with MAC “Heroine.”

Β I think it would be really cute if you did your hair all pin-up style with this particular look, but anything would really work! πŸ˜‰

SUGAR SKULL!!! πŸπŸ’€ Halloween Makeup! Bright & Beautiful!

Hi gorgeous ladies! I am SUPER excited to share with you this beautiful look on how to tranform your face into a sugar skull for Halloween! πŸŽƒπŸ”ͺπŸ‘» I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while but i have been terribly busy with work, but i finally got a couple hours to myself so i took my oppurtunity to do anotherΒ Halloween makeup look for you all. Just a reminder to ENTER my OCT GIVEAWAY! Open to everyone U.S. & International! πŸ’„πŸ’‹β€οΈ ENTER HERE! Now, let’s get started on the look!

This is what i came up with..

I had so much fun creating and really personalizing this look, and i think you all will too! The best part is that the colors and design is pretty much completely up to you, besides the staples like: the nose, the smile, the eyes. I added a traditional spider web to my forehead, some pretty rhinestone embellishments in certain areas of my face, the flower to my chin etc..

Here’s what was used!

So here i have my usual MALLY shadow base/primer, some hydrating face primer, DUO eyelash glue for my falsies and face embellishments, my usual foundation & concealer and some halloween makeup kits (an injury stackable i used the black for intense shadowing,Β and a day of the dead halloween kit) I honestly knew i was taking a gamble with the color set that came with the Day Of The Dead kit, they didn’t look like they were going to be nearly as pigmented as they should and they WEREN’T. So, i ended up using a plain ole’ eyeshadow palette, that happened to be very very cheap ($1.50 USD) but extremely good quality as you can see! “Waterworld” L.A. Colors. I applied my MALLY base shadow everywhere you see shadow around my eyes, and just used liquid foundation for the other parts of my face that had eyeshadow on them to help it stick really well. πŸ™Œ But i DID end up using the sponge to sharpen lines and the eyeliner pencil the Sugar Skull kit came with. πŸ‘

The key to this sugar skull look is the OMBREΒ & blending effect, a.k.a transitional shades of one color from dark to very light. It really made this look complete & pulled it together when i went in and really darkened the shadow areas and brightened the highlight areas. 🌺 Be very thorough when blending your colors out and don’t be afraid to add some black to darken things up or white/vice versa, it will give this look depth. If only it were Halloween TODAY haha, i am really happy with how this turned out. So: if you have a nice glide-on sharp black eyeliner pencil, bright eyeshadow palette/choices, some eyeshadow brushes, an injury kit with a true black shade and patience, you can transformΒ yourself into a sweet sugar skull girl! πŸπŸ’€

I hope this will inspire some of you to go ahead and try their own take of this! If you do i would LOVE to see your creations!!!πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for reading hope you girls enjoyed! Please leave Β  thoughts & comments for me

Okay, so i did a shimmery blue & green eyeshadow look with a pink lip and then with a lavender lip just to see which i preferred. (I liked the pink better with my skin) Then i decided that i wanted some sort of design on my face/neck.. So, i used a simple piece of white printer paper to cut out some scales & gill stencils with a razor blade πŸ™‚ Crazy simple and crazy easy if you need something quick. Then i just held the stencils on the spots i wanted to transfer them onto, (lotionΒ up area first it makes it a looot easier) and used a makeup brush with the same color eyeshadows on it to fill it all in. Then peel it off and VIOLA! πŸ˜‰

Here is everything i used:

image

  • Lancome High Def Mascara
  • MALLY base shadow
  • L.A. Colors eyeshadow palette “waterworld”
  • Sally girl single eyeshadow “Aqua”
  • SMASHBOX Halo Glow Color Boosting Powder (bronzer)
  • Serious Skincare A Primer Vitamin A Line Filler
  • MAC Strobe Liquid
  • Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer
  • Almay Liquid Eyeliner (was going to use black MAC dip down but decided not to)
  • Paper!
  • Razor Blade

So, if you’ve got some gorgeous water-themed eyeshadows laying around, bust them out for a Halloween party! Try out this look for yourself, all you need is some gorgeous bright eyeshadows, a razor blade and some printer paper! πŸ˜€ You can create the exact stencil/shape you have in mind too, which is the best part. Make a pretty emblem for your forehead or big scar for your cheek, options are endless ladies!
