🎂 BIRTHDAY: MOTD & OOTD! Hang out with me! 🍰

Hi babes! 😘 So my day has finally come and i am super excited about going out and having some time to enjoy all of my loved ones company. 💖 But i couldn’t do any of that untill i got my comfy outfit on & makeup on my face! So, i chose something simple since we are going going to old town, i wanna be comfy for walking up and down the shops!

 

And simple eye makeup that accentuated my lashes, with a pop of color on my lips 😘💄💋

What i used: flower tinted BB1 cream, infallible pro-matte powder, SMASHBOX halo glow color boosting powder (bronzer), Laura Geller “Tropic Hues” Blush, Lancôme high definition mascara black, ColourPop Ultra Matte Lippie in “Koala”

Here is the outfit i will be wearing tonight! With the same makeup but changing my lip color to “Lust” by DNA cosmetics.

We first went to a delicious breakfast and i enjoyed some great buckwheat pancakes with a side bowl of fruit and cup of coffee 🍎🍒🍇🍌🍉 Yummy and healthy! 👌 Then we hit a huge antique shop and there were sooo many vintage and old school quirky things there, it smelt like history. I took some cool pictures of what they had for sale for you all haha!

Bae found a vintage 1980 bb gun he wants to rebuild 😏💞

These were really crazy, i couldn’t believe they had stuff like this! Poor animals 😿❤️😰

Old potion bottle 💖

I would of loved to refurnish this old love seat.. We spent at least 2 hours walking through the whole place, there was SO much to look at 😵 Lots of big spiders! 😨

Anyways, I ended up buying a few lovely pinup posters that i fell in love with! 💖👌I plan on framing them all for my new and improved vanity area i’ve been working on! So stoked. 😁

Very happy about this find! 💘 And Bae was very happy about his! Got straight to it 😏❤️

So we were home hanging out for a bit and getting ready to go out later and UPS comes by and my man brings in my next gift, another package from ColourPop!!! OMG, somehow ColourPop knew how important it was to get this box here on my bday lolol 😂 I was ecstatic jumping up and down and i think he loved that 😏 haha.. So i had to crack it open! But, i took a bunch of pictures and i’ll post all of my gifts tomorrow i promise! Heres a lil sneak peak! 

Now we’re headed to my parents house for some family time, grub, cake and presents!

My dad made a wonderul asian pear pie from the trees in his yard, and he also bought me a chocolate chocolate cake with strawberries! 😍 So sweet of him and my mom ❤️ I’ll be sharing what i got as gifts (some wonderful stuff!) in tomorrows post a long with announcing my giveaway winner!!! 😁 Hope you enjoyed this i normally don’t do posts like this but since it was my bday 😏💖 haha. Simple Halloween Mermaid Look!

Hi all! ❤ I had some requests for halloween makeup looks and so now that it is October finally, i’ll be doing a few costume looks here and there. Hope you enjoy them! Here is what i created today, this would work for a sexy mermaid outfit or something like that.

Okay, so i did a shimmery blue & green eyeshadow look with a pink lip and then with a lavender lip just to see which i preferred. (I liked the pink better with my skin) Then i decided that i wanted some sort of design on my face/neck.. So, i used a simple piece of white printer paper to cut out some scales & gill stencils with a razor blade 🙂 Crazy simple and crazy easy if you need something quick. Then i just held the stencils on the spots i wanted to transfer them onto, (lotion up area first it makes it a looot easier) and used a makeup brush with the same color eyeshadows on it to fill it all in. Then peel it off and VIOLA! 😉

Here is everything i used:

• Lancome High Def Mascara
• MALLY base shadow
• L.A. Colors eyeshadow palette “waterworld”
• Sally girl single eyeshadow “Aqua”
• SMASHBOX Halo Glow Color Boosting Powder (bronzer)
• Serious Skincare A Primer Vitamin A Line Filler
• MAC Strobe Liquid
• Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer
• Almay Liquid Eyeliner (was going to use black MAC dip down but decided not to)
• Paper!
• Razor Blade

So, if you’ve got some gorgeous water-themed eyeshadows laying around, bust them out for a Halloween party! Try out this look for yourself, all you need is some gorgeous bright eyeshadows, a razor blade and some printer paper! 😀 You can create the exact stencil/shape you have in mind too, which is the best part. Make a pretty emblem for your forehead or big scar for your cheek, options are endless ladies!

Maybelline Blushed Nudes Night Out Makeup Look!

I got a request the other day from someone saying they wished i would have done some looks with that Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette review i posted recently, so i thought that was a great idea and i should definitley at least post one look with this palette. Here’s what i came up with!

Sort of a pink, rosey smokey eye. I always start my eyeshadow routine with my MALLY base shadow. It is so creamy, doesn’t crease at all and makes the shadow stick to your lids perfectly for HOURS! One of my personal favorites.

The base shadow is the pan to the left. It works very well as a primer but any eyelid primer will work just fine.

Let me show you how a base shadow works for those who aren’t familiar:

(The brown shadow shown here is NOT used in this look, it is achieved using only the colors from the blushed nudes palette. This is just used  as an example)

Above are the two shadows in the MALLY palette swatched separately. As you can see, the brown eye shadow is somewhat transparent, it doesn’t look nearly as dark as the color in the actual pan. The base shadow is neutral in color, bright & creamy. Now, let me show you the brown shadow OVER the creamy base shadow.

Now that the brown shadow has been applied over the base, it has much better color pay off and it is noticeably darker than the last swatch.

Back to the look: Here are the colors i used from the Maybelline Blushed Nudes Palette

In this order i began to apply:

1. I pretty much just cut my crease with this color and then blended it out so it wasn’t such a harsh line.
2. I packed this onto my lid, and blended it in with the color i used in my crease.
3. Traced my outer V with this black color and blended it out, also used on my bottom lash line.
4. Applied this to my inner corner, and below  near my inner corner on my lower lash line. Blend blend blend!

You can really achieve some beautiful romantic eyes with this palette. I’ve been loving it so far and here you can see the gorgeous colors in action! You could also go the opposite route and do something with the lighter colors in the palette for more of a daytime look. If you’d like me to do a daytime look for you just leave a comment!
