Christmas Eyeshadow Collab with Bhavika! <3

Hi everyone! So i partnered up with the lovely BhavikaΒ to do a christmas collab. She thought of getting together with 12 other bloggers, for the 12 days up until Christmas! Her posts were awesome you should click on her name above and check them out! You will love it! πŸ˜€ We both decided to do a festive holiday eye shadow look together. First i will show you what she has created, it is so gorgeousΒ you are gonna love it!

Hey guys! It’s Bhavika from http://www.manikui.wordpress.com. I have a quick and easy eye makeup tutorial for you all today. I’m not a makeup artist but I do sometimes love to just play around with makeup and share what I’ve created on my blog. Today, I will be sharing my little creation on Tami’s blog! I absolutely love her blog and think she is a wonderful blogger. She is really sweet and has AMAZING eye makeup in every single of her posts! She is really talented! But I am sure you guys know that already…

For my shimmery pink eye makeup, I used:
– Maybelline Lash Sensational / Linked HERE.
– Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer – light / Linked HERE.
– Maybelline Master Precise Liquid eyeliner / Linked HERE.
& this mini makeup revolution palette which game from one of their Christmas gift sets this year! / I cannot find it online anymore! 😦

Please ignore my eyebrows, haha! Haven’t had them threaded in a long time! I think I better do it before Christmas day though.

I first used the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer under my eyes to cover the dark circles under them. It really brightened my eyes up!

I then covered the base with the lightest pink shade in the palette which is next to two matte light highlighted shades in the palette (none of the shades have any names – sorry!). It is an extremely pale pink colour – like an off white colour and has A LOT of shimmer. It is great for the base!

Next, I used the two darker pinker shades next to the endearing copper shade on my crease. I kept alternating between them until I had a really dark pink crease. The pictures really do not do it justice! (Santa, I need a better camera for Christmas! haha) It looked incredible in person. There was so much shimmer and definitely a great Christmas party look if you want to look fresh and sparkly.

I finished off my look with one coat of my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara on my top lashes (which was definitely enough for me since my eyelashes are incredibly long and thick). I also did quite a thin winged liner with my Maybelline Master Precise liquid eyeliner. It is very easy to use due to its thin tip and makes a wonderful cat eye!

That’s it for the look.Hope you guys liked this! I am so disappointed that I couldn’t find the link of this palette but I am pretty sure there must be more Makeup Revolution palettes out there with these shades.

As you can see i did a Smokey Ruby look, i wanted to do something more dramatic since i’ve been doing more fun festive looks lately!

The products i used to achieve this look:

  • ColourPop Super shock shadows in Get Lucky (gold) & Erotic (bright red)
  • Z-Palette- The two shades the brushes are pointed to (Burgundy & Black)
  • Tarteist Clay Paint Liner in Black
  • Mally Base Shadow/Primer

How i did it:

First off Β I moisturized my face and applied my foundation, then i applied my Mally base shadow (it’s like a really thick primer for the eyelid) to both of my lids, next i took “Get Lucky” gold eye shadow and applied it into my inner V. After that i took the burgundy shade from my Z-Palette and placed it in the crease area. Now i went over the burgundy lightly with “Erotic.” This intensified the color making it look much more red toned than purple, i also brought that color in over my lid. Lastly, i went into my outer V and some of my crease with black, darkening up and making it look more dramatic! πŸ™‚

I really hope you guys enjoyed this Collab, it was my first one ever and i wanted to thank Bhavika so so much for choosing me as one of her 12 bloggers, you’re awesome! Don’t forget to go check out her collab post on her site as well! Love you all, leave your comments and thoughts for both of us! πŸ™‚

Icey Blue Winter Makeup Look!

Hi beauties! Just wanted to post another quick Winter themed look today! I actually got a call this morning from my boss saying it’s a snow day and to stay home! How awesome is that? πŸ™‚ So the snow has brought me this icey-princess inspiration, let’s get started!

IMG_0922

Today i used:

  • MAC Mineralize Liquid Foundation
  • MAC Mineralize Concealer
  • L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Powder Foundation
  • SMASHBOX Halo Glow Color Boosting Powder (bronzer)
  • MAC Strobe Liquid
  • MALLY Base Shadow/Primer
  • Tarteist Clay Paint Liner in Black
  • SMASHBOX Full Exposure Mascara
  • Z-Palette: A couple blue shade variations & white
  • Milani Baked Blush in Bella Rosa
  • Salon Perfect Falsies
  • DUO Lash Glue

As you can see i used a few different shades of blue to create depth in this particular look. I also added a very small extra wing to my liner, while bringing it out from my bottom lash line as well as on top. This made my eyes look widerΒ and cuter. ❀ When using bright colors like these, use a shade lighter than your base color to blend things out. If you don’t have a lighter shade of blue, go ahead and use white and you can easily create the faded out, lighter blue look.

For my lips i applied a primer, then dabbed a silver shadow in the middle of my lips, then applied the same lighter blue color for filling in the rest of my lips, followed by lining key areas with a darker blue shadow.

QUICK REVIEW: FLOWER Beauty OUTSTRETCHED 3 Way Mascara!

Hi again you girls!<3 Just picked this new mascara up by FLOWER Beauty and i am in LOVE. If you’ve seen lots of my other posts, i have been currently using the Lancome High Definiton mascara which is a bit pricey. So, since im running low, i figured i try a good drugstore mascara. πŸ™‚ This post will show you the tranformation from no mascara through all 3 steps of FLOWERS three way brush. Here’s what the brush looks like:

Ha don’t mind the eyebrow pencil swatch πŸ˜‰

So the black bristles are step 1, pink are step 2, and the very tip is step 3. Let’s get started!

image image image image

As you can see it really does lengthen and elongate your lashes, and the pink bristles are great for separating and de-clumping! I absolutely love this mascara and highly recommend it! Didn’t take very long to achieve and i feel like my lashes look like a nice natural pair of falsies πŸ™‚ This is perfect for running out of the house for a few mins but you wanna look presentable, What do you think?
